prayer for self control

My Heavenly father. I come to you today in need of self-control. My heart feels weak and there is no peace in my mind. I come in need of your grace and power.  Holy spirit,feed me with truth in the scripture to make me healthy. Where there are distractions help me to stay focused and true to the things you have called me to do. Where there are obstacles before me, may your light shine a way through. Lord, change my attitude so I use my tongue to speak hope and favour upon my life and others around me...Amen.
